Each kind of information has one job.

Project contents stay out of the payment path. Billing details stay out of the file workspace.

Project filesOnly files inside folders you deliberately authorize are in scope. Search, Ask, change awareness, and evidence use those sources.

Source-file safetyNormal Sclerite search, Ask, and monitoring read your authorized work; they do not rewrite or delete the source documents.

IntelligenceThe workspace is centered on your Windows PC. Some intelligence functions may use an internet connection, so Sclerite does not claim fully offline or air-gapped operation.

Billing and activationStripe handles payment details. Sclerite's licensing service handles entitlement and activation. Project document contents are not needed for billing.

Website measurementIf privacy-conscious analytics are configured, the site records page and action events—not the contents of your project documents.

SupportSclerite receives only the message and diagnostic information you choose to send to support.

Remove access

Exclude individual sources or remove a connected folder. The change persists when Sclerite restarts.

Important answers and findings point back to supporting evidence. Open the original file for decisions that matter.

Expect uncertainty

Sclerite can be wrong. When evidence is weak or sources conflict, the product is designed to show that rather than invent certainty.

Cancel without losing files

Cancellation stops future renewal according to the billing terms. Your source files remain in their original locations and remain yours.

Uninstall cleanly

Uninstalling removes the application. Local Sclerite workspace data may remain in your Windows profile until you remove it; source files are not deleted.

Evidence helps you verify. It does not replace professional judgment.

Sclerite can miss information, misread a source, or surface an item that is not relevant. Review original documents and use qualified legal, accounting, safety, or technical advice when the decision calls for it.
