Terms of Service & End User License Agreement

The product
Sclerite is Windows software that helps you find, understand, summarize, and monitor information in files and folders you choose. You receive a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use Sclerite while your trial or paid access is active.
14-day trial and billing
A payment method is required to begin the advertised trial. Stripe shows the renewal date and price before confirmation. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the selected monthly or annual subscription begins and Stripe charges the payment method on file. Canceling stops future renewals; access continues through any already-paid period unless law or the checkout terms require otherwise.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for choosing which folders Sclerite can use, keeping account and recovery links private, maintaining backups, reviewing important answers and source files before acting, and using the software lawfully. Do not bypass access controls, provide subscription access to others, or use Sclerite to access information you are not authorized to use.
Answers and availability
Sclerite is an assistance tool, not a substitute for professional judgment. Answers can be incomplete or incorrect when source files are missing, unreadable, ambiguous, or contradictory. Verify important decisions against the shown sources. Service interruptions, updates, and compatibility changes may occur.
Your data
Your files remain yours. Billing changes do not intentionally delete them. Local indexes and settings can be removed through normal product or operating-system controls.
Termination
Access may end when a trial expires, a subscription ends, payment remains unresolved, or these terms are materially violated. Provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, limits, and disputes survive termination where applicable.
Contact and governing law
