How estimators can track addenda without missing the change
A practical addenda workflow that keeps the requirement and its source together.
Create one arrival point
Put every issued addendum in the same bid folder and keep the issued date in the filename. Avoid saving working copies across email, Downloads, and the desktop, where the newest version becomes hard to prove.
Review the consequence
For each addendum, record what changed in scope, materials, schedule, submission instructions, alternates, and pricing assumptions. The useful question is not only whether a file changed, but whether the bid must change with it.
Keep the evidence beside the decision
